I just wanted to share our very positive experience at this Motel: I had been booking our accommodation as we went along on our holiday. Not realising that I had double booked for the 5th September 2018 both at this hotel and at a hotel in Prince George. When I realised what I had done my husband said that we should just tell the receptionist what had happened and see if they could accommodate us for that evening. As luck would have it Ricky the receptionist said that owe could have the available room for half price given that we had made an honest mistake. So we agreed on the price and we went away until the room was available later in the afternoon. On return Ricky said to us that we could have the room for no extra payment! We were absolutely delighted with this as we had been paying a considerable amount more for accommodation in rooms which were neither as clean or as well equipped as the one here in the North Lodge Motel. This young man did not require to make any concessions for us but he did and we were so grateful for his understanding and help. I would commend this Motel to anyone.
I do not recommend. The staff got angry at us for showing up late even though we called 7 times in advance. They were downright rude and would only give us a room when we proved we called. Don't stay here unless you want to be treated like trash.
Very nice place to stay, rooms were clean bright, bed was comfortable, almost felt like home. Thanks for a great sleep.
